It all began 80 years ago as an idea to better acquaint San Diego residents with Glen Abbey and its newly built Little Chapel of the Roses. What innocently began as an initial promotion, surprisingly flourished, and is now an integral department of Glen Abbey.

The Wedding Department has made many bold and significant gains since it's first Wedding in 1927 when the 1915 hand-operated Victrola phonograph played the wedding songs.

Since the time of the Victrola Phonograph, we have continually grown while diligently improving all aspects of the facilities and grounds as well as our services. We are very proud of the Chapel, it's Beautiful Grounds, Gardens and our facilities, which when combined with our experience, can facilitate the fulfillment of your desires and dreams of the perfect wedding.
