Frequent Questions

For your information and review, we have compiled and formulated a number of the most frequently asked questions regarding various aspects, which have or will occur within the period from now throughout the Wedding Ceremony. In many cases you may find the questions and answers either too broad or brief. Please feel free to ask your wedding coordinator and she will be most happy to discuss with you any and all of the points in-depth.

  Can I reserve a time and date for my wedding by telephone?
  Yes, there is a $100.00 deposit required to book and hold a date and time. However it is imperative for you at this time to also schedule a time and date for meeting with your wedding coordinator to specify each and every detail of your wedding.

  Why do I need an appointment?
  Appointments help us to serve you better. When you have an appointment, we know when you will be available and we can arrange a tour of the facilities plus we will set-aside adequate time to give you our undivided attention. Otherwise, you may come in when all wedding coordinators are in session and are unable to provide the service you deserve.

  Can my minister or priest perform the ceremony?
  Yes, your minister, priest or Celebrant of your choice, regardless of faith is welcome to perform your ceremony in our facility.

  How many attendees can the Chapel accommodate?
  Within The Chapel of the Roses we can comfortably seat 150 attendees.

  Do you have dressing rooms for the Bride and Groom?
  Yes, This is another reason a tour will be very helpful, the dressing rooms are large, complete with private restrooms and furnished with virtually everything you could desire.

  Are the Chapel and dressing rooms air-conditioned?
  Yes, the entire Chapel and dressing rooms are totally climate controlled and are comfortable year around regardless of the ambient temperature.

  Can I mix and match packages?
  First, should your requirements vary significantly, we will be most happy to design a ceremony exactly to your desires. However, in most cases you may change the packages simply by additions and deletions within the package to suit your needs. There may be some changes in the price or you may be able to exchange items.

  What must I also provide for the ceremony?
  Our package plans are all inclusive with exception of the officiant all else is provided. Should you choose, you may provide any or all of the services such as photographer, floral arrangements, music, candles, aisle runners, etc., yourself. Again, it is imperative to discuss these specific details with your wedding coordinator.

  What form of payment do you accept?
  We accept cash, checks and most credit cards for you convenience.

  How much will the total Wedding Ceremony costs be?
  This is of course very difficult to answer here with a simple figure. However, you will find our wedding packages are remarkably affordable and priced very competitively. We also, can assure you that we can plan a beautiful and memorable wedding for virtually any budget.

  Do I have to pay for everything now?
  No, we do have payment plans available. The payments are set up with your wedding coordinator according to the package you may have chosen.

  Is there ample off road paved parking?
  Yes, The Chapel of the Roses is set within the grounds of Glen Abbey and we can accommodate over 200 vehicles for attendees.

  Seems easier than I imagined, can I also book the reception with you?
  No, but we will provide you a list of suitable suggestions conveniently located within San Diego.
